Chapel
At our private Christian school, we sing, we pray, we learn to love one another. Our non-denominational approach focuses on loving each other and cleaning up our thoughts. Chapel is held Wednesday mornings at 10:30 and 11:00, and afternoons at 4:00. We want every child at our private school to be an example of God's love. No matter what your diagnosis is, you are made in God's image, and He has a wonderful plan for your life!

Tutoring / Speech, OT,  & ABA
We now offer many forms of therapy. Tutoring sessions are also offered, and the results are guaranteed. All tutoring and therapy can be paid for by available scholarship funding, through insurance, or private pay. Please call us for additional information and to obtain a list of insurance providers that are accepted.

Scholarships / McKay Scholarship / Step up for Students
Our private school, which serves Brandon, Valrico, and all of Hillsborough county, accepts both the McKay scholarship and the Step-up for Students scholarship. Please follow the link in the left menu bar for more information! We are proud to be one of the special education, private schools in Hillsborough county that accepts the McKay scholarship. 

Cognitive Therapy
New Cognitive Therapies are at Lighthouse! We are now a certified provider of Interactive Metronome and the Listening Program! We are a private school that believes that the brain is plastic and can become stronger at all ages of life, if given the proper sensory input. Nourish the brain and watch it grow! The research shows that these therapies help with ADHD, Autism, APD, and other learning disabilities.

P.E. with Purpose!
During our morning break, (Yes! Our students get two breaks to wiggle each day), we use the Focus 2 Learn program. This program is a set of movements designed to improve cognitive abilities. Focus2Learn is used both in our private school and summer camp program! A great program to help students with ADHD focus!
